Software Engineer – Identity & Access Management

This role involves shaping a next-generation Identity & Access Management platform at a leading global financial institution, focusing on cybersecurity with an enterprise IAM solution built on modern cloud-native and identity-first architecture.

• Solid software engineering background with hands-on cloud-native development experience
• Experience in API development and microservices architecture, including event-driven architecture
• Knowledge of identity standards: OAuth2, OIDC, SAML, SCIM
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Git, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, DevSecOps
• Understanding of secure coding practices and experience with testing and automation
• Ability to work collaboratively in Agile/Scrum teams across complex, global organizations

• Develop and maintain cloud-native identity services and platform components
• Build APIs, microservices, and event-driven integrations
• Implement authentication, authorisation, and identity federation capabilities, including OAuth2, OIDC, SAML, and SCIM
• Support Human Identity, Agent Identity, and Workload Identity solutions
• Develop Policy-as-Code integrations and authorisation services
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code where required
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation across DEV/TEST/PROD environments
• Develop secure integrations with enterprise identity platforms and third-party services ensuring security, performance, and resilience
• Participate in peer code reviews, design reviews, and Agile ceremonies (planning, refinement, stand-ups, retrospectives)
• Support monitoring, logging, and operational observability; troubleshoot and resolve application and integration issues
• Produce technical documentation and operational runbooks; identify opportunities for automation and continuous improvement

• Experience with Policy-as-Code and authorisation service patterns
• Exposure to Workload Identity or Agent Identity concepts
• Background in enterprise IAM platforms or identity federation at scale
• Experience working in highly regulated financial or enterprise environments
