Senior Android Developer

Our Client leads the Polish e-commerce market since 1999, with over 20 million users. The client has a large IT team of over 1,000 employees developing their own technologies. Jit Team partners with them since 2021, providing multiple autonomous software development teams designing micro-services for the platform.

• 5+ years of commercial experience in native Android development with Kotlin
• Strong understanding of mobile application architecture patterns such as MVVM, MVI, Clean Architecture
• Experience with REST APIs and asynchronous programming
• Proficiency in writing unit and integration tests
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles, data structures, and algorithms
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
• Good written and spoken English communication skills
• Proactive problem-solving and passion for excellent user experiences

Nice to have:

• Experience with large-scale, high-traffic mobile applications
• Knowledge of reactive programming (e.g., RxJava, RxKotlin, Combine)
• Familiarity with Jetpack Compose and Coroutines
• Experience with A/B testing frameworks
• Contributions to open-source projects or a strong GitHub profile
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies

• Design, develop, test, and deploy features ensuring high quality, performance, and responsiveness
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to define and implement innovative solutions
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
• Maintain high code quality standards
• Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues
• Continuously improve development processes, tools, and infrastructure
• Share knowledge and mentor junior engineers
• Stay updated with the latest mobile technologies and industry trends
