Databricks Data Engineer

• 3 to 5 years of Data Engineering experience with Databricks.
• Very strong Python, SQL and PySpark skills.
• Experience with Databricks including Delta Lake and DLT, plus cloud data lake and lakehouse architectures.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud services including ADLS, Azure Data Factory and Azure Synapse, or equivalent cloud services.
• Experience with REST APIs and batch and streaming ingestion.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines and Azure DevOps or similar.
• Strong understanding of data quality, performance tuning and scalability.
• Exposure to banking, risk, regulatory reporting and analytics platforms.
• Experience supporting data intensive applications for decision making and compliance.
• Very good English skills.
• European Union citizenship and residence in Poland.

Nice to have:

• Medallion architecture, dimensional models and Data Vault.
• Kafka and Event Hub streaming technologies.
• Power BI and Tableau, plus Azure or Databricks certifications.

• Design, develop and maintain ETL and ELT pipelines for structured and semi structured data.
• Build and optimize lakehouse solutions for analytics, reporting and regulatory use cases.
• Ingest data from databases, APIs, files and messaging or event streams.
• Transform, validate and quality check end to end data flows.
• Translate stakeholder requirements into data solutions with Business Analysts.
• Support production, analyze incidents and optimize performance.
• Apply data governance, security and regulatory standards.
• Hybrid work with two office days weekly in Wrocław or Poznań.
• IT Services project until the end of 2026, with possible extension and ASAP start.
• Full time B2B engagement at 120 to 130 PLN net per hour.
