Power BI Developer/ Analyst

Cyclad is an international consulting company specializing in the IT/ICT sectors, providing outsourcing services in HR and IT domains. They serve diverse industries including Banking, Aviation, Travel, Cybersecurity, and BPO, tailoring solutions to each sector's specific needs.

• 3–5+ years of experience with Power BI development and support
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, Power Query, DAX
• Experience in data modelling and report development
• Experience with SQL and relational databases
• Experience connecting Power BI to multiple data sources
• Understanding of Power BI workspaces, datasets, reports, and dashboards
• Experience with Row-Level Security (RLS)
• Knowledge of dataset refresh and gateway management
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Very good command of English

Nice to have:

• Experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate)
• VBA knowledge
• Experience supporting reporting solutions in enterprise environments
• Experience in legal, professional services, or regulated industries
• Familiarity with Power BI Report Server
• Knowledge of CI/CD and release management for reporting platforms

• Develop and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and datasets
• Analyze existing reporting solutions and document business and technical dependencies
• Support operational activities for Power BI reporting services
• Investigate and resolve report failures, refresh issues, and data quality problems
• Optimize report performance and improve dashboard usability
• Support report lifecycle management and deployment
• Design and maintain Power BI data models; build and optimize DAX measures and calculations
• Develop Power Query transformations and data preparation
• Analyze business requirements and translate into reporting solutions
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability of reports
• Work with multiple data sources including SQL databases, Excel files, APIs, SharePoint, and enterprise applications
• Manage dataset refresh and gateway configurations
• Support troubleshooting of connectivity and data ingestion
• Support workspace administration and report governance
• Implement and maintain Row-Level Security (RLS)
• Follow reporting standards, governance principles, and operational procedures
• Participate in knowledge transfer with client SMEs
• Prepare and maintain technical and operational documentation
