Senior Java Microservices Developer – Cloud & API Focus

The role is with a leading financial institution innovating customer communication platforms in the banking sector. The position contributes to designing and modernizing a messaging delivery system for bank clients.

• Minimum 5 years of senior experience in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices development.
• Practical experience with Kubernetes and Cloud environments, especially AWS.
• Solid knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools: GitHub, Jira, Jenkins, Maven, and Groovy scripting.
• Strong understanding of API standards and practices: Swagger, OpenAPI 3.0, REST, and JSON.
• Experience with authentication/authorization protocols like OAuth 2 and familiarity with Kong API Gateway.
• Familiarity with Agile testing (TDD) and Scrum methodology.
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Proactive attitude with eagerness to learn new technologies.

Nice to have:

• Certifications in AWS, Kubernetes, or related fields.
• Experience with messaging or communication platforms in banking or financial sector.

• Develop high-quality distributed applications using Java and Spring Boot adhering to business and technical standards.
• Design and build scalable microservices architecture using Kubernetes and Cloud (AWS).
• Define and enforce API design standards with Swagger, OpenAPI, and REST.
• Support automation with CI/CD tools including Jenkins, GitHub, and Maven.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Conduct unit testing and code reviews to ensure quality, security, and compliance.
• Contribute to automation test coverage and continuous improvement of development processes within Agile/Scrum.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to align technical development with business objectives.
• Maintain engineering process control, compliance, and operational excellence.
