Kubernetes Platform SRE Team Lead – Container Orchestration

The role is based in Kraków, Poland, supporting a global leader in financial services within their Private Cloud team, focusing on the internal Kubernetes platform.

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes administration
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes concepts, troubleshooting, and operations
• Experience with containerization, orchestration, and Unix systems administration
• Knowledge of ITIL processes like Incident, Problem, and Change Management
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code practices
• Excellent analytical and communication skills in English
• Proven leadership skills in managing and supporting small technical teams

Nice to have:

• Experience with Service Mesh technologies

• Lead and support a small, agile team maintaining and improving the internal Kubernetes platform (IKP) infrastructure
• Ensure reliability, availability, and high performance of the Kubernetes platform
• Diagnose complex infrastructure issues and provide timely resolutions
• Support deployment, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of the Kubernetes environment
• Perform root cause analysis and implement proactive reliability improvements
• Manage incident response and troubleshooting, including participation in 24×7 on-call rotations
• Collaborate with global teams to ensure alignment on best practices and seamless operations
