Senior VDI Engineer (Citrix, AVD)

• 6+ years experience in IT
• Strong hands-on expertise in Citrix technologies, either on-premises or Citrix Cloud
• Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop or willingness to develop expertise
• Automation and scripting skills, preferably using PowerShell and Terraform
• Experience working with Azure is a plus
• Experience creating technical documentation including low-level designs and build guides
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Good communication skills for working with technical teams and stakeholders
• Fluent English, both spoken and written; German is a plus

• Implement and configure enterprise-scale VDI solutions based on Citrix and Azure Virtual Desktop
• Build and configure Citrix Cloud, Citrix on-premises, and Azure Virtual Desktop environments
• Execute migration activities including preparation, testing, deployment, validation, and troubleshooting
• Configure and maintain access, control, and resource layer components
• Implement image management, application delivery, profile management, policies, and user environment configurations
• Support capacity expansion, disaster recovery, resilience, and performance optimization
• Develop automation for deployment, configuration, maintenance, and operational activities
• Contribute to low-level designs, documentation, implementation procedures, and operational handover materials
• Provide technical guidance and knowledge sharing to other engineers
