Environment Owner/Release Manager

• Proactive and systematic mindset.
• Several years of experience managing IT projects or services in complex IT landscapes with focus on Infrastructure and/or Platforms.
• Fluent English language skills.
• Strong relationship, collaboration, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse individuals.
• Ability to understand technical aspects of environments to resolve issues with managers and technical experts.

Nice to have:

• Experience or understanding of agile methodologies or SAFe.
• Experience with Enterprise Infrastructure (e.g., app servers, databases, networks, firewalls) or Temenos Transact products.

• Overall accountability and responsibility for lower (Dev, Test) and higher (PreProd) environments, plus coordination support for Production environment when required.
• Proactively engage in and drive problem resolution across environments.
• Support preparations and activities during Production Go Live events, including weekend work.
• Identify and manage external dependencies, risks, impediments affecting deliveries; resolve environment-related issues.
• Define and provide environment requirements to providers for procurement, configuration, and maintenance.

Plan, schedule, and govern environments:

• Trace environment dependencies such as Failover Tests, Functional Releases, Infrastructure updates, patches.
• Support Infrastructure lifecycle, including new technology introduction and old technology depreciation.
• Define Trial Conversion schedule, schedule refreshes/imports, and coordinate technical support.
• Manage user accesses to environments.
• Resolve scheduling conflicts between different Agile Release Trains (ARTs).

Collaborate and coordinate environment-related activities:

• Engage with Retail Technology Services and Operations Teams for delivery of environment refreshes, code installations, and database imports.
• Monitor and align status of key Core Banking test environments and consider availability for team testing activities.
• Cooperate with Application Maintenance and Production Support teams to resolve issues.
• Drive Core legacy teams to complete environment-related work.
• Tactical vendor management regarding environments, including driving vendors’ setup work.
• Coordinate vendor support for testing, Final Dress Rehearsal, and Go Live events.
