BI & Data Analytics Manager (remote work possibility) (m/f)

The role is within an organization in the Life Science industry. It involves hands-on activities combined with team management, focusing on Business Intelligence and Data Analytics development projects and solutions.

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Reporting, or related field
• Very good knowledge of Power BI, including dashboard, report, and data model creation
• Good knowledge of SQL and ability to independently acquire and analyze data
• Experience gathering and analyzing business requirements and translating them into analytical solutions
• Experience in BI and Data Analytics projects or implementing new reporting tools
• Preferred experience in team management
• Project work skills, ability to set priorities, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to business users

• Active, hands-on involvement in BI and Data Analytics projects
• Managing a small BI & Data Analytics team (up to 2-3 people), organizing work, developing competencies, and setting priorities
• Key team member in a BI solution implementation project cooperating with IT and business users
• Gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements and translating them into reporting and analytical solutions
• Cooperation with business, IT, and stakeholders to ensure proper use of BI data and tools
• Designing, creating, and developing reports and dashboards in Power BI
• Creating and optimizing queries and analyses using SQL
• Managing the report database ensuring consistency and quality
• Defining and developing standards for reports, dashboards, KPIs, and data visualization
• Identifying opportunities for automation and process improvements in reporting and analytics
• Collaborating with IT on data sources, integration, BI architecture, security, and data access
• Monitoring data quality and resolving reporting and data availability issues
• Supporting business users in utilizing BI solutions and fostering self-service analytics skills
• Monitoring new BI, Data Analytics, and data visualization functionalities
