Senior AI Platform Engineer – Cybersecurity and Cloud Integration

The role is with a Krakow-based client operating in the cybersecurity and cloud technology industry, focused on developing an innovative AI platform to empower cybersecurity analysts with intelligent workflows, automation, and AI-assisted capabilities.

• Minimum 6 years of experience in software engineering focusing on modular, maintainable systems.
• Proven experience building REST APIs and backend services.
• Strong background in developing reusable libraries or frameworks.
• Experience with asynchronous and event-driven architectures.
• Proficiency in one or more of: Python, TypeScript, or Go.
• Familiarity with modern AI technologies including large language models (LLMs), AI agents, RAG, prompt engineering, AI workflow orchestration, model evaluation, governance, and safety.
• Cloud-native development expertise in Azure or AWS, including storage, authentication, queues/messaging, serverless, containers, and monitoring.
• Experience integrating with third-party platforms via REST APIs, SDKs, or webhooks.
• Good understanding of cybersecurity concepts: SIEM, SOAR, IAM, Threat Detection, Incident Response, Authentication, and Authorization.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, CrowdStrike, Microsoft Defender, ServiceNow, SOAR platforms, MITRE ATT&CK, Detection Engineering, or SOC.
• Background in building AI platforms or designing workflow engines.
• Development of SDKs or internal developer platforms.
• Knowledge of vector or semantic search and structured data pipelines.
• Experience designing scalable cloud architectures.
• Offensive security techniques or adversary emulation experience.
• Contributions to technical strategy and architecture.

• Design, develop, and maintain AI-driven platform capabilities for cybersecurity operations.
• Build scalable backend services and REST APIs to enhance platform functionalities.
• Develop workflow orchestration and automation to optimize security processes.
• Integrate with enterprise security and operational platforms including 3rd-party systems.
• Produce reusable components, SDKs, and connectors for multiple applications.
• Participate in architecture discussions, technical planning, and strategic direction.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies for platform integration.
• Collaborate with security analysts to translate operational challenges into technical solutions.
• Write maintainable, well-tested, and well-documented code; engage in code reviews and architectural discussions.
