Lead Qt/QML Developer (Desktop Applications)

Spyrosoft Synergy is an international company working on a large-scale desktop application built with Qt, QML, and modern C++. The product is mature and used globally.

• 5+ years of commercial software development experience
• Strong commercial experience with C++ including modern standards
• Experience developing desktop applications with Qt and QML
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles, architecture, and design patterns
• Experience working with large codebases and long-term projects as well as smaller agile ones
• Familiarity with version control, code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD practices
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
• Strong communication skills and willingness to collaborate internationally
• English proficiency at C1 level (written and spoken)

Nice to have:

• Experience with Windows and/or macOS development environments
• Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies
• Experience supporting technical decisions and leading development teams
• Experience with Proof of Concept initiatives
• Python programming skills
• Docker knowledge
• Experience using AI tools in daily workflow

• Design, develop and maintain desktop or embedded applications using Qt, QML, and modern C++
• Collaborate with product teams and stakeholders to define and deliver new features
• Drive architectural and technical decisions
• Ensure high code quality through code reviews, testing, and continuous integration practices
• Support and mentor other developers
• Contribute to maintaining and evolving a large, established codebase
• Work independently and take ownership of delivered solutions
• Participate in Agile development processes
