Lead Qt/QML Developer (Desktop Applications)

Spyrosoft Synergy is an international team developing a large-scale desktop application using Qt, QML, and modern C++. The team focuses on a mature product used globally, applying modern development practices including continuous integration, automated testing, and code reviews. Spyrosoft is recognized as one of the world's leading Qt partners, emphasizing collaboration, software craftsmanship, and continuous improvement.

• 5+ years of commercial experience in software development.
• Strong commercial experience with C++ (including modern C++).
• Experience developing desktop applications using Qt and QML.
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles, architecture, and design patterns.
• Experience working with large codebases and long-term software projects as well as smaller agile ones.
• Familiarity with version control systems, code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD practices.
• Ability to work independently and effectively manage priorities.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to collaborate in an international environment.
• English proficiency at C1 level (written and spoken).

Nice to have:

• Experience with Windows and/or macOS development environments.
• Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies.
• Experience supporting technical decisions and leading development teams.
• Experience with Proof of Concept initiatives.
• Python programming skills.
• Docker knowledge.
• Experience using AI tools in day-to-day workflow.

• Design, develop and maintain desktop or embedded applications using Qt/QML and modern C++.
• Collaborate with product teams and stakeholders to define and deliver new features.
• Drive architectural and technical decisions.
• Ensure high code quality through code reviews, testing, and continuous integration practices.
• Support and mentor other developers.
• Contribute to maintaining and evolving a large, established codebase.
• Work independently and take ownership of delivered solutions.
• Participate in Agile development processes.
