Sr. Software Engineer, Identity Management & Authentication

• Extensive professional software engineering experience.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java and/or a similar object-oriented language with an ability to write high-quality, maintainable code.
• Experience building web user experiences using TypeScript, PostCSS, Svelte, Ember, or React.
• Deep understanding of identity fundamentals, secure session management, and modern authentication/authorization protocols including OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWTs, and SAML.
• Experience with SQL and databases including relational databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL and NoSQL like DynamoDB.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex problems from multiple perspectives.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience collaborating across diverse teams.
• Self-driven and comfortable working in a fast-paced, shifting priorities environment.

• Author user and customer configuration tools and Java APIs that expose the capabilities of Addepar’s identity platform.
• Migrate authentication experiences to new platforms supporting global availability, enhanced user experience, and customization.
• Bridge architectural and strategic identity investments with product-driven user experience improvements.
• Provide expertise on authentication protocols such as OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and SAML during product design.
