Backend Developer (Java)

Scalo delivers software projects and supports partners in business development through diverse IT services, including technology consulting, software development, embedded systems, cloud solutions, data management, and dedicated project teams.

• Minimum 5 years of commercial experience programming in Java
• Practical knowledge of Java 21 or newer
• Very good knowledge of Spring Boot framework
• Experience designing and implementing solutions based on hexagonal architecture
• Experience creating and integrating REST API and SOAP services
• Knowledge of queueing systems and asynchronous communication such as Apache Kafka or IBM MQ
• Experience working with relational databases: Oracle or PostgreSQL
• Ability to design efficient and scalable backend applications
• Attention to code quality and good programming practices

• Realize services in a banking project involving designing and creating software in Java for web applications available on an intranet
• Propose and implement new technological solutions and optimize existing ones
• Maintain technological standards
• Improve team tools and work practices
• Work hybrid mode with one meeting per week at the client's office in Warsaw

Work location: Warsaw; hybrid work mode (1 meeting per week in client's office)
