Senior DevOps Engineer

• Full-stack software engineering experience, including building production software with C#/.NET, Node.js, Python, Go or similar.
• Senior-level experience (5+ years) in building and operating cloud platforms or infrastructure with end-to-end ownership and mentoring.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes (AKS), including networking, storage, and managed databases.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code and GitOps tools: Terraform, Helm, and ArgoCD or similar.
• Experience with modern CI/CD pipelines, ideally GitHub Actions, and migrating from other CI systems.
• Knowledge of observability, reliability including metrics, logs, traces, SLOs, error budgets, and policy-as-code.
• Product mindset with developer empathy, designing self-service platforms with guardrails instead of gates.
• Familiarity with AI coding assistants and enthusiasm for building AI workflows and golden paths.
• Professional-level English communication skills (spoken and written).

Nice to have:

• Experience with API platforms (Azure APIM, Apollo Federation/GraphOS) and developer portals (Backstage).
• Exposure to agentic/LLM tooling, MCP, GitHub Spec-Kit, AI developer workflows.
• Interest in Spec-Driven Development and AI coding assistants.
• Experience facilitating InnerSource or community-driven platform contributions.
• Knowledge of Team Topologies, DORA, SPACE / DX Core 4, CNCF platform maturity, workflow automation (n8n), and FinOps.

• Build and operate the Internal Developer Platform with golden paths, self-service templates, developer portal (Backstage), and guardrails.
• Own and evolve CI/CD and GitOps processes using GitHub Enterprise, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, migrating from Azure DevOps.
• Provision and manage cloud infrastructure with Terraform and Helm on Azure, including AKS, networking, databases, and security components.
• Improve observability and reliability with NewRelic, Grafana, define SLOs, reduce operational toil and manage monitoring costs.
• Develop AI-First Delivery and Agentic Development capabilities, including agent-ready contexts and governance.
• Own platform capability areas end to end, define reference patterns and architectural decisions, mentor engineers.
• Build platform capabilities like a product, focusing on adoption, documentation, and feedback mechanisms to enhance developer experience.
