Senior UX/UI Research & Design Specialist – Cybersecurity

This role is for a Krakow-based client, a leader in cybersecurity solutions dedicated to enhancing user experience and protection on a global scale.

• Bachelor’s degree in UX/HCI, cognitive psychology, graphic design, or related field.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in UX/UI design, focused on user research and problem-solving.
• Fluent English (written and verbal).
• Proven experience conducting end-to-end user research.
• Experience collaborating with product managers, developers, and stakeholders.
• Portfolio demonstrating at least three design projects with complex applications.
• Proficiency with UX tools such as Figma or Adobe XD.
• Experience creating low- and high-fidelity prototypes and wireframes.
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or React.
• Background in complex, technical, or cybersecurity-related industries.

• Design, plan, and conduct qualitative and quantitative user research including interviews, surveys, and usability testing.
• Analyze user behaviors and translate findings into actionable design improvements.
• Develop research protocols and validate user personas.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize research activities in line with project goals.
• Define problem statements to promote shared understanding within cross-functional teams.
• Create journey maps, user flows, and empathy maps to illustrate user experience.
• Advocate for usability and accessibility throughout the product lifecycle.
• Conduct usability testing to validate and iterate on design prototypes.
• Maintain organized research data repositories for ongoing reference.
• Monitor user feedback post-release to ensure solutions address root problems.
• Define success metrics for UX initiatives.
• Stay updated on UX/UI trends, tools, and best practices.
