DevOps Engineer

Silky Coders develops IT, e-commerce, and data science solutions for Grupa LPP, supporting brands like Reserved, Mohito, Cropp, House, and Sinsay, with technologies used daily by millions of users.

• Minimum 3 years of experience as DevOps Engineer, SRE, Reliability Engineer, System Administrator, or similar.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and ArgoCD and ability to select them for software development and maintenance stages.
• Practical experience with Terraform and Ansible, understanding the difference between Infrastructure as Code and configuration automation.
• Deep understanding of Kubernetes (OKD/OpenShift) and daily use of Docker.
• Proficiency in AWS, GCP, and Azure with cost, reliability, scalability, and business scenario analysis.
• Experience with technologies such as Nginx, Varnish, MySQL, Percona Cluster, Redis, ProxySQL, and ElasticSearch.
• Ability to analyze incidents, prepare post-mortems, and propose risk mitigation measures.
• Strong knowledge of Linux and comfortable terminal usage.
• English language proficiency sufficient for technical documentation comprehension.
• Availability to work hybrid in Gdańsk office.
• Experience with AI-powered tools to improve efficiency and quality.

• Develop the DevOps platform providing repeatable, well-documented services for automation, CI/CD, observability, and infrastructure management.
• Automate repetitive tasks using pipelines, scripts, Infrastructure as Code, configuration automation, and AI tools.
• Optimize service costs by analyzing resource usage and supporting cost-effective decision making in multicloud environments.
• Optimize the operation of Kubernetes (OKD) clusters.
• Develop machine images using Ansible.
• Design and deploy multicloud infrastructure using Terraform integrated with application build and deployment processes.
• Ensure security, performance, and availability of services via configuration of Akamai WAF and CDN.
• Expand observability using tools like New Relic, ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana, and Opsgenie.
