Data Architect

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years experience in data architecture, data engineering, or related fields.
• 4+ years experience with Databricks.
• Strong understanding of data management principles: data modeling, ETL, data integration, and data warehousing.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, data lakes, and big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
• Proficiency in data modeling tools, data governance, and data quality frameworks.
• Experience with cloud platforms including AWS, GCP, Azure, and modern data architectures like serverless and microservices.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to design complex data systems.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills for cross-team collaboration and stakeholder influence.

• Design and oversee development of data architecture including databases, data warehouses, data lakes, and integration systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into data architecture solutions.
• Define and implement data management processes such as data modeling, metadata management, data quality, and governance.
• Ensure data security and compliance via access controls and data protection.
• Optimize data architectures for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency in on-premise and cloud environments.
• Provide guidance on data architecture and design best practices to engineers, analysts, and developers.
• Stay updated on trends and technologies to enhance data infrastructure.
• Create and maintain documentation including data flow diagrams, data models, and system integrations.
• Travel to client sites as required (up to 20%).
