• Fluent spoken and written English
• University degree in Natural Sciences (Applied), Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
• Solid knowledge of relevant programming and modelling languages, e.g., Python (preferred) and R, business intelligence tools, and cloud technologies such as Azure and AWS
• Hands-on experience in statistical modelling, machine learning, AI, data visualization, and knowledge of GenAI applications and large language models; MLOps experience is desirable
• Strong analytical skills and experience processing large structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data, supplemented by experience with GenAI applications
• Willingness to innovate and proactive work approach combined with ability to think and act in a networked manner
• Willingness to travel

Nice to have:

• Fluent spoken and written German

• Develop and implement strategic digitalisation projects focused on (Gen)AI
• Design and implement machine learning and AI solutions, particularly deep learning
• Contribute to the development and deployment of machine learning and (Gen)AI solutions, including model training, fine-tuning, prompt engineering, and continuous optimization
• Collaborate with IT and business units in agile, cross-functional teams
• Help build and maintain a company-wide network to foster a strong AI community
• Have work experience in the insurance industry
