Backup SME (Veeam)

• Strong hands-on experience with Veeam Backup & Replication, Veeam ONE, Veeam Recovery Orchestrator, and Veeam Enterprise Manager.
• Experience with Dell PowerProtect Data Domain in enterprise backup environments.
• Experience protecting and recovering workloads on VMware and Hyper-V.
• Knowledge of disaster recovery, backup security, immutability, and retention practices.
• Experience using ServiceNow in a service-focused environment.
• Knowledge of integrating Veeam with the Zabbix monitoring platform.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
• Scripting and automation skills with PowerShell, Bash, Python, or REST APIs.
• Understanding of other enterprise backup solutions.

• Own and support enterprise backup and recovery services based on Veeam and Dell PowerProtect Data Domain.
• Ensure reliable backup operations through proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolution of complex incidents and recurring issues.
• Lead backup, restore, and disaster recovery activities in line with recovery objectives, retention policies, and security requirements.
• Optimize backup performance, resilience, automation, and operational processes to continuously improve service delivery.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and customer stakeholders on backup solutions and best practices.
• Provide technical guidance on backup and recovery services.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
• Create and support automation scripts using PowerShell, Bash, Python, and REST APIs to enhance backup service operations.
