Mid Magento Backend Developer

Fabrity Commerce is a software house specializing in eCommerce, building its position as a trusted Technology Partner since 2013. The company has completed over 100 projects with 80 clients, maintaining long-term partnerships averaging 5 years. The current project involves cooperation with a Polish brand from the clothing and decoration industry, migrating their business to a new technological level.

• Minimum 3–5 years of commercial experience in backend programming with PHP
• Practical and well-established knowledge of the Magento 2 platform and its internal design patterns
• Ability to write clean code and develop dedicated Magento modules
• Experience with CI/CD processes (e.g., Bitbucket pipelines) and Git version control
• Basic knowledge of frontend technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript to facilitate teamwork
• High independence, technical curiosity, and problem-solving orientation

Nice to have:

• Experience writing unit and integration tests (PHPUnit)
• Performance tuning experience on backend and database
• Knowledge of containerized development environments (Docker)
• Familiarity with Hyvä Theme and Alpine.js
• Practical use of AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) in daily development workflow

• Design and develop business logic, modules, and integrations during migration to Magento 2 (Greenfield project)
• Develop scalable backend architecture following Clean Code and SOLID principles
• Independently estimate tasks and break down business requirements into technical steps
• Conduct R&D and optimize database and application performance
• Collaborate closely with the Technical Lead, frontend developers, QA, and Delivery Manager
• Present implemented functionalities in project meetings
• Test own solutions manually and automatically
