Senior Software Security Delivery Lead – GCP & Open Source Expertise

Forward-thinking organization transitioning from vendor-dependent platforms to an open-source ecosystem built on GCP.

• 10+ years of software development experience, with recent hands-on expertise in at least two of: Java, Python, Node.js, or Go.
• Deep knowledge of Google Cloud infrastructure — GKE, Cloud Run, Identity-Aware Proxy, and Cloud SQL (PostgreSQL).
• Proven leadership in managing cross-functional teams (Frontend, Backend, SRE) using Agile methodologies.
• Strong ability to identify architectural risks, dependencies, and stakeholder management.
• Practical experience implementing security-first delivery, managing secrets, container security, and compliance-as-code.
• Proficiency with DORA metrics to drive continuous improvement.

Nice to have:

• FinTech or Security background, especially within regulated environments focused on “Security by Design.”
• Experience in cost management, optimizing GCP spend and resource allocation.
• A holistic approach to complex problem-solving.

• Drive technical orchestration by aligning business strategies with robust architectural execution.
• Champion DevSecOps practices by automating compliance, managing risks, and defining standards of delivery.
• Manage day-to-day operations, oversee sprint health, remove technical blockers, and promote high-quality feature delivery.
• Perform hands-on support through code reviews, debugging infrastructure-as-code, and troubleshooting production issues.
• Advocate for open-source solutions, guiding the team in selecting and implementing the best tools to replace proprietary platforms.
