Principal Engineering Manager (remote within EMEA)

• Significant experience leading engineering teams within a product company.
• Strong track record of delivering complex products or systems in a fast-moving environment.
• Comfortable operating in both technical and product discussions.
• Strong ownership mindset with ability to bring clarity to ambiguous situations.
• Experience partnering closely with Product and Design.
• Clear communication skills and practical, execution-oriented leadership approach.

Tech stack includes:

• Languages: PHP (Symfony), Node.js (TypeScript), Angular (TypeScript)
• Data: PostgreSQL, Redis, MongoDB, scalable data processing, distributed architectures
• Infrastructure: AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm, containerized environments, cloud-native services, and modern observability tooling
• Engineering practices: Automated testing (unit, integration, end-to-end), CI/CD, code reviews, continuous delivery, A/B testing
• AI-assisted development: Using LLMs and coding assistants for improving software development workflows including implementation, testing, debugging, documentation, and code quality

• Lead a team of engineers with clear direction, context, and feedback.
• Partner with Product and Design to shape solutions from earliest stages.
• Own delivery from problem definition through execution, ensuring clarity, alignment, and momentum.
• Drive predictable execution through thoughtful planning, realistic expectations, and transparency about progress and risks.
• Maintain a high bar for engineering quality, scalability, and maintainability.
• Contribute to broader engineering improvements through experience, collaboration, and strong leadership.
