Senior Site Reliability Engineer (Data Platform)

On behalf of our client, a global leader in cloud and content delivery, the role is within a critical team managing a massive data pipeline for telemetry collection and analytics.

• Hands-on experience with large-scale, distributed data systems and deep understanding of data reliability.
• Practical experience with modern NoSQL databases, especially Cassandra or MongoDB.
• Minimum 5 years as an SRE or Systems/Infrastructure Engineer managing mission-critical distributed systems.
• Proficient programming skills in Python, Go, or Java for automation and tooling development.
• Strong foundation in Linux/Unix administration and system troubleshooting.
• Strong problem-solving drive to identify root causes and deliver robust production solutions.

• Engineer and maintain reliable, high-performance large-scale data platforms.
• Serve as the highest technical escalation point for complex reliability and performance problems.
• Design and build real-time observability systems using Prometheus and Grafana.
• Develop automation and internal tooling leveraging Python, Go, and Java.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to influence architecture and deliver scalable solutions.
