Junior Java Developer with German

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• First experience with Java and object-oriented programming principles through academic projects or personal learning.
• Familiarity with relational databases (such as PostgreSQL, MariaDB, Oracle) and web technologies.
• Familiarity with Git and software development lifecycle concepts.
• Basic understanding of Spring Boot and JPA/Hibernate.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and work in an international project environment.
• German language skills at minimum C1 level.
• Good English communication skills.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of cryptographic methods, authentication and authorization mechanisms, MFA, and eID solutions (e.g., Keycloak, eIDAS, LDAP).
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools like Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker, SonarQube.
• Familiarity with APIs including automated testing, mockups or simulators.
• Exposure to data migration projects.
• Knowledge of additional programming languages.
• Automated testing experience using tools like Selenium, Jira XRay.
• Basic knowledge of Infrastructure as Code and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• First experience working with public sector clients or authorities.

• Work on projects within public, energy, automotive, and other large sectors developing custom software solutions.
• Participate throughout the full software development lifecycle including design, implementation, and enhancement of existing solutions.
• Collaborate closely with internal developers and customer architects to build sustainable and maintainable software architectures.
