Senior Product Manager, UX Foundations

• 5+ years of Product Management experience with ownership of platform, infrastructure, or foundational product areas.
• Proven experience in Localization or Internationalization (i18n/L10n), including knowledge of translation management systems and global go-to-market workflows.
• Experience building or scaling a UX Platform, design system, or shared component library.
• Working knowledge of Accessibility standards (WCAG, ARIA, EN 301 549) and commitment to inclusive product experiences.
• Ability to operate strategically and execute details, working closely with Engineering and Design.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and ability to influence without authority.

Localization strategy:

• Own and drive the Localization strategy for Box, defining standards, workflows, and tooling to ensure products are fully translated and culturally adapted.
• Build and maintain the Localization infrastructure, including translation management systems and internationalization (i18n) frameworks.

UX Platform roadmap:

• Lead the UX Platform roadmap, partnering with Design and Engineering to build and evolve the shared component library, design system, and platform primitives.
• Drive adoption of UX Platform components across product teams to reduce duplication and ensure design consistency.

Accessibility:

• Define and scale Box’s Accessibility standards, establishing WCAG conformance requirements and inclusive design practices.
• Act as the internal SME for Accessibility, Localization, and UX Platform by educating teams and developing internal guidance.

Cross-functional collaboration:

• Partner with Product, Engineering, Design, and GTM teams to embed Accessibility, Localization, and UX Platform considerations from planning through launch.

Leadership alignment:

• Align with senior leadership on roadmap priorities, report on program health, and communicate progress to customers and partners.
