Fullstack Engineer (Java&Kotlin + JavaScript)

Our client is one of the largest e-commerce platforms in Europe, used daily by millions. They connect sellers (small businesses to global brands) with customers, focusing here on creating a specialized automotive vertical as part of a strategic initiative to transform the platform into specialized “stores within a store.”

• Ability to effectively use AI-assisted development tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot, OpenCode, or other agentic coding tools).

Backend:

• Strong proficiency in Java and Kotlin with scalable backend application experience.
• Strong knowledge of Spring Boot for application and REST API development.
• Focus on code quality, testing, application performance, and building technical/business monitoring.
• Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining distributed microservices architectures.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted coding tools.

Frontend:

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript.
• Good knowledge of React and its ecosystem for UI development.
• Solid understanding of semantic HTML5 and responsive layouts using CSS.
• Practical knowledge of building accessible web applications aligned with WCAG standards.

Nice to have:

• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, especially Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Basic knowledge of relational (SQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.
• Practical experience with SQL.
• Experience with Microfrontend architecture.

• Develop and enhance the automotive vertical experience as part of a strategic initiative.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and REST APIs using Java, Kotlin, and Spring Boot.
• Develop frontend features using React and TypeScript, leveraging existing components and Microfrontend architecture.
• Design and maintain distributed, microservices-based solutions with focus on code quality, testing, performance, and reliability.
• Work with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), SQL and NoSQL databases including MongoDB.
• Build and maintain technical and business monitoring for developed products and features.
• Use AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot and OpenCode daily.
• Collaborate with engineers, product teams, and stakeholders to deliver new features and improve the platform continuously.
