Senior Automation Engineer

• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in test automation with very good knowledge of Playwright and TypeScript.
• Practical experience designing and creating test automation frameworks from scratch.
• Deep understanding of testing methodologies including functional, regression, UAT, integration, and exploratory testing.
• Ability to use AI-assisted coding tools or enthusiasm to quickly learn them.
• Solid knowledge of version control system Git and teamwork practices.
• Very good understanding of DOM structure and ability to write stable and maintainable locators.
• Experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira) and test management (e.g., TestRail).
• Ability to communicate technical matters clearly to both technical and business audiences.
• Experience in usability and accessibility testing.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
• Fluent English language skills in speaking and writing.
• Positive, proactive attitude with strong interpersonal skills.

Nice to have:

• Experience working with Jira and creating clear developer documentation in Notion.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Passion for traveling.

• Design, develop, and maintain stable End-to-End test automation frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript.
• Write and execute automated test scripts covering functional, regression, and integration scenarios.
• Implement, document, and evolve QA standards, procedures, and best practices suitable for organizational scale.
• Collaborate closely with developers to analyze, diagnose, and resolve defects and promote good testing practices.
• Actively participate in Scrum events such as user story planning and defining acceptance criteria.
• Track, analyze, and report software quality metrics during sprints and releases.
• Act as a key escalation point for quality issues and drive their resolution within the team.
• Recommend and implement improvements enhancing software quality and user experience (UX).
• Monitor industry trends and automation tools and incorporate knowledge into the team.
