You will take ownership of the operational health of Credit APIs and microservices, working closely with multinational development teams across the Nordics, Poland, and India. The role involves incident investigation, problem resolution, production monitoring, deployment execution, and knowledge management. Collaboration with development and platform teams to ensure stability and reliability of Retail Credit solutions is key.

Wymagania

5+ years of professional experience in IT Operations or 2nd line technical support, DevOps
Proven experience owning incidents end-to-end from alert to RCA to prevention
2+ years working within the ITIL framework (incident, problem, change management)
Strong background in Agile delivery environments
Excellent English communication skills
Proficiency with log analysis and alerting tools: Splunk, Apica, Sysdig
Experience with observability tools: Prometheus, Grafana
Comfortable with services running on Kubernetes (pod health, logs, restarts)
Familiarity with Jenkins pipelines for deployments
Knowledge of relational databases (Oracle, DB2) including querying and execution plans
Understanding of Spring/Hibernate, Kafka, and XML/JSON payloads

Nice to have:

Java/J2EE development background
Experience with IBM Datastage
Scripting in Bash, Python for automation
Experience with Ansible for configuration management

Obowiązki

Own the root cause analysis (RCA) process for production incidents, diagnose, resolve, and implement preventive measures
Continuously monitor service health and detect anomalies early
Trigger and oversee release deployments through CI/CD pipelines; troubleshoot and coordinate rollbacks
Ensure Pre-Production and Production environments remain stable and aligned
Document operational procedures and maintain a knowledge base
Collaborate with development and platform teams to triage issues and clarify operational requirements

Operational improvement:

Identify recurring pain points and propose automation or tooling
Improve observability coverage with dashboards, alerts, and log queries
Contribute to service continuity initiatives and disaster recovery drills
