Senior Java Developer

Moondigo Sp. z o.o. recruits for one of the largest insurance groups in Poland. The role is in a team developing a new system supporting fraud detection in claims settlement processes. The project is part of a strategic technological transformation program aiming to build a modern ecosystem for claims and benefits management using data, automation, AI, and workflow processes. The technology stack includes Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Hibernate, Kafka, Flowable, Azure, Angular, and Neo4j.

• Minimum 5 years of commercial experience with Java
• Strong knowledge of Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Hibernate
• Experience with Apache Kafka
• Minimum 5 years of experience with SQL
• Practical knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
• Familiarity with object-oriented and functional programming
• Experience with application containerization
• Knowledge of workflow engines and BPMN
• Experience in developing and maintaining distributed systems
• Knowledge of resilience patterns and mechanisms
• Experience with unit testing frameworks such as JUnit, TestNG, and Spock
• Knowledge of integration testing and tools like Testcontainers and WireMock
• Familiarity with application performance diagnostics and analysis tools
• Ability to use AI tools in the software development process
• Ability to provide services from Poland
• Willingness to work in a hybrid model, with at least one day per week in the office

Nice to have:

• Experience with AI Agents / Agentic AI
• Experience with cloud solutions, especially Azure
• Knowledge of Angular and experience in frontend development
