Microsoft Database Administrator Junior/Mid/Senior [K/M]

• Minimum 5 years of relevant IT professional experience (depending on profile level)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position (depending on profile level)
• Experience in administration of complex database systems based on MS SQL deployed in distributed environments
• Expert knowledge in database optimization, tuning, and capacity planning
• Experience in scripting for MS SQL databases, data transformation, and ETL tools, including cloud services
• Experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining Microsoft Business Intelligence tools and services on-premises
• Experience with designing, implementing, and maintaining Microsoft Fabric tools and services
• Practical experience working with monitoring systems
• Practical experience in virtual infrastructure administration
• Basic knowledge of administration of other Microsoft systems

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of DBPlus Performance Monitor application
• Experience in designing and administering SQL Server Always On environments
• Good knowledge of data recovery models (Full, Simple, Bulk-Logged) and Disaster Recovery procedures
• Experience in performance analysis using SQL Profiler, Execution Plans, and DMV
• Experience working in environments with elevated security requirements
• Active EU security clearance at Confidential level or higher
• Certifications:
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate
  • Microsoft Certified: Fabric Data Engineer Associate

• Administration and monitoring of database services based on MS SQL
• Providing 2nd line support for database management
• Updating technical documentation and operational procedures
• Troubleshooting database problems
• Implementing databases
• Extracting, transforming, and loading data (ETL)
• Planning database capacity and availability, tuning, and optimization
• Implementing changes according to ICT change management procedures
