Senior iOS Developer (freelance)

We've been designing and co-creating connected devices since 2008 for clients like Oura and BOSE. The company has 60+ people, works fully remote, and uses AI daily in actual work. They focus on wearables, smart audio, and health-tech hardware.

• 3+ years writing production Swift
• Strong, hands-on BLE integration experience
• Proficient with structured concurrency in Swift
• CI/CD experience with GitHub Actions, Bitrise, or Travis
• Unit testing discipline with XCTest, Quick/Nimble and a TDD mindset
• English at B2+ level, written and spoken
• Creative problem-solving mindset
• High coding standards and knowledge of the latest iOS developments
• Initiative, ownership, and clear communication

Nice to have:

• Experience with other mobile platforms (Android, Flutter, KMM)
• Previous IoT or connected device projects
• Functional reactive programming (Combine, RxSwift)
• Agile/Scrum experience
• Genuine curiosity about built devices, not just code

• Build and maintain iOS apps that communicate with hardware peripherals over BLE
• Take part in specifying, planning, and estimating new modules and features
• Write and maintain unit tests (XCTest, Quick/Nimble) with a TDD mindset
• Keep CI/CD pipelines in shape (GitHub Actions, Bitrise, Travis)
• Review pull requests and give your teammates helpful feedback
• Share what you learn via tech talks, internal docs, and pair sessions
• Work side by side with firmware engineers, designers, QA, and PMs
• Use AI tools as part of your daily workflow
