Cybersecurity Engineer

Cyclad works with top international IT companies delivering cutting edge technologies. This role is for a public sector project focusing on cybersecurity, infrastructure, cloud environments, DevSecOps, and service reliability.

• Minimum 6 years of professional experience in cybersecurity, infrastructure engineering, DevSecOps, or related fields.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, security engineering, and secure software delivery.
• Experience with Linux/Windows environments, networking concepts, container technologies, and cloud platforms.
• Practical experience with DevSecOps methodologies and CI/CD security integration.
• Hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines, GitLab Runners, automated deployments, and infrastructure automation.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes highly desirable.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or Ansible is an advantage.
• Experience with cybersecurity platforms and tools such as SIEM, vulnerability management, endpoint and application security preferred.
• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills in an international environment.
• Fluent English required; French or Luxembourgish is an advantage.

Nice to have:

• Experience working in public sector or highly regulated environments.
• Experience with Security Operations Centres (SOC/CSOC).
• Knowledge of IT service management practices (ITIL).
• Experience with cloud security (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Experience with security automation and scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell).

• Gather and analyze business requirements, define technical solutions, and coordinate service changes with stakeholders.
• Act as a Service Owner or Service Delivery Manager for assigned technical services.
• Operate as a Site Reliability Engineer ensuring reliability, performance, and security of platforms.
• Manage and troubleshoot infrastructure, operating systems, container environments, networking, and security platforms.
• Lead and participate in incident and problem management activities.
• Design, implement, and maintain cybersecurity solutions and processes.
• Contribute to infrastructure development, solution architecture, custom software development, and security platform integration.
• Configure and maintain cybersecurity tools in the Cyber Security Operations Centre (CSOC).
• Develop and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines including security testing integration, source code analysis, automated provisioning, deployment automation, and rollback strategies.
• Configure and manage GitLab Runners for various projects.
• Collaborate to improve automation, security posture, and operational processes.

The project requires fluent English, with French or Luxembourgish considered an advantage. Work is 100% remote under a B2B contract.
