Databricks Data Engineer

Cyclad works with top international IT companies delivering cutting-edge technologies. The project is in IT Services, remote from Poland, planned until the end of 2026 with possible extension.

• 5-6 years of experience in Data Engineering with Databricks
• Very strong Python and PySpark skills; proven experience with Databricks
• Experience working in large, shared codebases
• SQL skills, especially reading and understanding complex logic
• Object-oriented programming experience and clean code principles
• Strong data modelling background (transactional and analytical)
• Experience redesigning models during platform migrations
• Very good English language skills

• Designing and implementing data processing solutions using Databricks for large-scale datasets
• Creating, developing, and optimizing data pipelines using Python and cloud-based tools
• Collaborating with Solution Architects to apply best practices in data engineering
• Ensuring data consistency, security, and scalability within cloud environments
• Participating in maintenance and further development of existing data solutions
• Ensuring software engineering quality, reusability, and long-term maintainability
• Applying software engineering best practices (clean code, OOP, modularization, refactoring)
• Actively participating in code reviews
