Test Automation Engineer

Cyclad collaborates with top international IT companies to deliver cutting-edge technologies. The role involves working remotely within an Agile squad on the CREST modernization program, focusing on testing and supporting development.

• Strong analytical mindset to interpret documentation, system data, clients, and colleagues
• Ability to derive manual and automated test scenarios with full traceability
• Experience with test automation using Java, UFT, and ADS
• Review and assure test deliverables for completeness and accuracy
• Confident facilitator for discussions and test approach shaping
• Strong analytical, system design, and development experience for distributed, multi-platform solutions
• Hands-on experience with Object-Oriented Design and Java development
• Experience with event-driven architectures including Kafka and Kafka Streams
• Database design and implementation with Oracle, including Java and SQL query skills
• Extensive Agile experience with knowledge of BDD and TDD practices
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (ADS)
• Strong understanding and practical experience in risk-based testing
• ISEB/ISTQB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing (mandatory)

• Work within an Agile squad delivering the CREST modernization program with focus on testing and development support
• Build business and technical knowledge to contribute across multiple initiatives
• Collaborate with Solution Architects, Product Owners, Technical Leads, and other stakeholders
• Deliver end-to-end testing solutions covering functional and non-functional requirements
• Define and establish estimation principles for migration program phases
• Author and own the Test Strategy and propose optimal approaches
• Peer-review test scenarios and test cases
• Execute tests to agreed standards
• Manage defects including analysis, challenge, and collaboration
• Identify, assess, and escalate risks and issues with aligned mitigation strategies
