Senior React Native Product Engineer, Consumer Alliance (all genders)

HelloFresh's HelloTech organisation is a global technology backbone with more than 1000 people building digital products that power the end-to-end food experience, including meal kits, ready-to-eat meals, pet food, and premium meat & seafood. The company operates a subscription-based, direct-to-consumer model relying on technology for customer-facing apps, personalization, pricing, forecasting, supply chain optimization, and reducing food waste. The Consumer Alliance is a cross-functional team responsible for customer acquisition, conversion optimization, retention strategies, and modernized payment processing across HelloFresh and Ready-to-Eat brands globally.

• Hands-on experience using AI tooling (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot) beyond casual experimentation
• At least 2-3 years of hands-on work with React Native
• Minimum 5 years of experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Proficiency in building component-based architectures using React.js and Node.js
• Deep understanding of frontend and backend service integration
• Familiarity with CI/CD workflows and strong testing practices (unit, integration, end-to-end)
• Strong collaboration skills with engineers and product/UX teams
• Full ownership mindset with bias to ship
• Product sense backed by data and user evidence
• Deep mobile engineering expertise including app release cycle, test automation, on-device performance, and platform UX conventions

• Build and improve the cart, checkout, and wallet flows in React Native apps from problem definition to production and measurement
• Run experiments on high-traffic, revenue-critical surfaces and use the results to decide next steps
• Collaborate with engineers to improve code base, systems, and processes continuously
• Design and develop scalable solutions
• Support team members through workshops, pair programming, and code reviews
• Work beyond your specialization when necessary
• Operate and monitor your built systems in production
• Own metrics reflecting mobile customer experience like retention, crash-free sessions, and conversion
