Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) – Flightscape Platform

Flightscape, powered by CAE, is a decision-making platform designed for airline Operations Control Centers to provide real-time insights for operational excellence in aviation. The role is within CAE Flight Services Poland Sp Z.o.o, which has nearly 80 years of experience in simulation, training, and mission readiness.

• 5+ years of experience in software or system engineering with at least 2 years in SRE or platform reliability.
• Experience in cloud environments with complex requirements.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
• Knowledge of data, network, and information security best practices.
• Experience developing and integrating with APIs.
• Strong expertise in automation and DevOps tools.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Knowledge of orchestration technologies and techniques.
• Strong analytical skills with a data-driven and process-focused mindset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and a proactive attitude.

Preferred Qualifications:

• CKA / CKAD certification.
• AWS certifications.
• HashiCorp Terraform certifications.

• Oversee application tasks related to in‑house applications for airline processes.
• Operate production systems under general direction.
• Design and build automation to ensure system scalability and efficiency.
• Develop tools and scripts for monitoring, deployment, and automation.
• Design complex technical solutions and align cross-functional teams.
• Build and use automation tools for release management.
• Support DevOps teams, processes, and IT Service Management.
• Act as a consultant or technical architect providing guidance based on requirements.
• Collaborate with technical managers and experts to validate architectures and solutions.
• Participate in on-call rotation.
• Work in a hybrid model from the Kraków office (Wadowicka 3).
