Language Data and Quality Reviewer for Norwegian - Transcriptionist (Freelance)

• Proficient in both Norwegian and English languages.
• Experience with data labeling, manipulation, or quality assurance, particularly in technology or related fields.
• Excellent logical reasoning and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and proactive in identifying data quality issues.
• Excellent listening, comprehension, and written communication skills.
• Strong computer skills, particularly typing and writing.
• Reliable high-speed internet and a functioning device (laptop, desktop, etc.) are mandatory.

• Certification as a Linguist.

• Analyze datasets, translating raw data into actionable insights supporting business improvement.
• Handle data batches, apply labeling techniques, and manipulate data with high accuracy.
• Oversee the quality of training data, identify issues, and implement corrective measures.
• Provide translations and contextual understanding to ensure alignment with language and cultural nuances.
• Offer recommendations to improve business processes based on data analysis.
• Transcribe and annotate audio or video files according to project guidelines.

• This is a freelance, task-based role with irregular and intermittent work.
• Work hours align with IST time zone, preferred from 8am IST onwards.
• Must be available for 0 to 20 hours per week.
• Must have own device and reliable internet connection from day one.
• Position classified as 1099 independent contractor; applicants outside the US should understand their local tax regulations.
• Onboarding via Deel.com platform with required compliance documentation submission within specified timelines.
