Lead Software Engineer

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in software engineering with combined Dev/QA responsibilities.
• Expertise in .NET / C#.
• Impactful leadership experience enhancing team efficiency and project success.
• Extensive background in test automation (E2E, API, Integration) and test strategy.
• Experience architecting and developing enterprise-scale applications.
• Knowledge of Cloud and On-Prem infrastructures, with Microsoft Azure experience.
• Deep expertise in CI/CD pipelines and tools (Git, TeamCity, Azure DevOps).
• Understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and Domain-Driven Design.
• Familiarity with XP practices (TDD, pair programming, continuous integration).
• Experience with relational databases (SQL).
• Willingness to learn APL with team support.
• Proficient English communication skills (Upper-Intermediate or higher).
• Ability to mentor and guide teams towards technical excellence.

• Provide technical leadership in design, development, and testing.
• Define and own test architecture and quality strategy at team level.
• Balance active coding (C#, APL) with guiding automation initiatives.
• Drive adoption of automation-first practices across the team.
• Monitor coverage, test metrics, and quality KPIs to ensure high-quality delivery.
• Mentor and coach engineers in development, automation, and testing skills.
• Represent the combined QA/Dev approach in cross-team forums.
• Collaborate with stakeholders (POs, TLs, architects) to align technical and quality goals.
• Conduct root cause analysis for complex defects and ensure preventive actions.
• Advocate for and implement improvements in tools, CI/CD pipelines, and engineering processes.
• Continuously assess and improve engineering processes, recommending new tools and technologies.
• Represent the team in technical forums and contribute to cross-team knowledge exchange.
