Risk Management Consultant with German | FS Consulting

FS Consulting at PwC Poland supports financial institutions in Poland and beyond with risk management challenges including market risk, credit risk, operational risk, and regulatory compliance. The team collaborates closely with PwC Germany's Financial Services Solutions Practice on consulting projects for Germany's financial sector, focusing on practical implementation of new regulations and cross-border projects within the EU financial sector.

• Fluency in English and German (C1 or higher)
• Completed or soon-to-be-completed higher education degree in finance, economics, international business, accounting, or related field
• Familiarity with FS regulatory requirements (such as EBA or SRB Guidelines)
• Basic understanding of banking processes including risk management
• Structured, proactive, and quality-focused work approach
• Strong communication skills, openness, and eagerness to learn in an international environment

Nice to have:

• Understanding of IFRS and/or HGB accounting with practical experience from internships in auditing, accounting, or consulting
• Basic programming skills or familiarity with Python, R, or Excel
• Experience using Excel with AI tools for automation, information analysis, and content generation

• Analyze and optimize risk management processes to ensure compliance with evolving European regulations
• Support clients during supervisory audits conducted by ECB, Bundesbank, or BaFin
• Assist clients in implementing regulations (such as MaRisk, CRDVI, BRRD) and interpreting emerging frameworks (e.g., IReF, BIRD)
• Drive digitalization and optimization of banking processes
• Collaborate closely with PwC Germany, building a cross-border network
• Support clients in resolving complex risk management processes
• Grow professionally in a learning-focused culture
