C++/C#/CAD Software Developer – Shipbuilding

Join a Hamburg-based team developing innovative software solutions for customers in the shipbuilding and industrial engineering sectors. The projects include components of the OpenPDM SHIP integration platform and customized solutions meeting specific customer requirements. The role offers the opportunity to work on software connected to the digitalization of shipbuilding, combining software development with engineering and CAD challenges.

• Professional experience in C++ and/or C# development.
• Good understanding of software development processes including specification, design, and implementation.
• Knowledge or practical experience with CAD.
• Experience working in agile software development teams.
• Ability to understand complex technical requirements and translate them into software solutions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-oriented approach and ability to work independently.
• Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to attend a 2–3 week training course in Hamburg and make short, regular business trips there.

• Develop customized software solutions based on customer requirements.
• Work on software solutions connected with CAD, ship design, and engineering environments.
• Participate in software specification, design, development, and implementation.
• Contribute to decisions regarding software architecture and technical solutions.
• Work closely with customers and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Take ownership of assigned development tasks and support successful project delivery.
• Share knowledge and experience with colleagues in an agile and collaborative environment.
• Depending on experience, coordinate development activities and support technical decisions.
