Embla Medical is a global company focused on improving people's mobility. The role is part of the global Internal Control & Risk team and reports directly to the Director of Internal Control & Risk. The position is based in Szczecin, Poland, with a hybrid work model requiring office presence at least 2 days per week.

Wymagania

  • University degree in Law, Risk Management, Finance, or another relevant field
  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise risk management, internal control, corporate governance, or related area
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Experience managing a team is highly preferred
  • Ability to work independently with quality and strategic focus
  • Knowledge of ERM frameworks such as COSO and regulatory topics including ESG and climate risk
  • Experience with policy governance and/or regulatory compliance programs
  • High proficiency in spoken and written English

Obowiązki

  • Lead and develop the Enterprise Risk Management framework and maturity roadmap
  • Lead risk identification, assessment, monitoring, and the annual enterprise risk assessment process
  • Ensure clear ownership of key risks, drive mitigation plans, and follow up with stakeholders
  • Prepare materials, facilitate risk workshops, and advise management and key departments
  • Promote a proactive risk culture through awareness, training, and risk-conscious decision-making
  • Oversee ERM systems and prepare risk reporting for management and the Audit Committee
  • Manage risk activities related to climate risk, double materiality, ESG, and other regulatory requirements
  • Manage policy creation, maintenance, and delivery in line with the roadmap
  • Improve the policy governance framework, lifecycle, and awareness activities
  • Coordinate cross-functional risk and policy governance activities
  • Monitor regulatory developments and best practices, and propose improvements
