Business Tester – Investment Products

• Experience in business or functional testing in the financial sector, ideally with investment products and processes
• Understanding of investment order processing stages, including placement, funding checks, execution, settlement, and servicing events such as income distributions and unit adjustments
• Ability to design and run test cases that follow entire investment client journeys from account opening to financial and tax outcomes
• Proficiency in querying databases directly using SQL
• Strong skills in Excel for independent calculation validation
• Familiarity with test and defect management tools such as Jira
• Patience for detailed and repetitive verification with sensitivity to rounding and numerical precision

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with compliance layers related to investment sales, including suitability assessment, client risk classification, and AML transaction monitoring
• Understanding of tax aspects of investment products, including income settlement and tax-efficient accounts
• Experience verifying data migrations, confirming integrity of historical records and client profiles
• Experience testing changes prompted by audit findings or regulatory requirements
• Experience testing across system boundaries involving investment platforms, core banking, CRM, or external providers
• Prior work with digital investment channels or end-to-end digitalization of investment processes

• Design, document and execute test cases and end-to-end scenarios for investment products and supporting applications
• Confirm accuracy of portfolio valuations, rates of return, commissions, and management fees
• Verify accuracy of client and supervisory outputs, including statements, transaction listings, and regulatory reports
• Query the database directly using SQL to validate balances, holdings, and transactions
• Independently reproduce financial calculations to verify system output
• Participate in System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), logging and tracking defects
• Coordinate testing activities within scope and report progress, status, and risks
• Prepare and maintain test documentation including test plans, scenarios, test data, and results
