Senior Go Engineer (Core Banking)

Colibrix One develops cutting-edge IT solutions for Payment Service Providers (PSPs), Electronic Money Institutions (EMIs), and neobanking platforms across the European Union and the UK. They provide advanced, AI-powered payment technologies including global card processing, digital wallet infrastructure, cross-border merchant accounts, alternative payment methods, and corporate accounts for legal entities. • 5+ years professional development experience with Go, including 3+ years in fintech, banking, payments, or transaction-critical systems
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems, microservices, and API design (REST and gRPC)
• Advanced PostgreSQL skills: transactions, isolation levels, locking, indexing, migrations, concurrency
• Experience with event-driven architectures and message brokers such as NATS, Kafka, or RabbitMQ
• Hands-on experience building and operating production services: incident investigation, safe deployments, database migrations, observability
• Practical knowledge of AWS, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with integrating banking and payment systems including AML/KYC and anti-fraud platforms
• Understanding of security requirements for financial and personal data
• Strong communication skills with working proficiency in Russian and English

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Temporal or similar workflow engines
• Knowledge of NATS/JetStream, GitLab CI/CD, OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, or Tempo
• Familiarity with event sourcing or append-only financial data models
• Understanding of PCI DSS and GDPR compliance
• Experience using AI coding tools for implementation, testing, or code review

• Develop and maintain payment gateway product components using Go
• Design and implement distributed systems, microservices, and APIs (REST and gRPC)
• Build reliable transactional systems using idempotency, retries, event deduplication, transactional outbox, sagas, and reconciliation techniques
• Operate production services including incident investigation, deployments, database migrations, and observability
• Integrate with banks, payment providers, processors, AML/KYC, and anti-fraud platforms
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and independently drive implementations
• Mentor and influence team members through knowledge sharing

Banking Domain Experience:

• Work with ledgers, accounting flows, accounts, and balance management
• Handle holds, reversals, adjustments, reconciliation, and settlement
• Support SEPA, SWIFT, and ISO 20022 standards
• Manage card transaction lifecycles and card scheme integrations
