Underwriting Support Analyst

• Prior general/technical underwriting support experience across various lines of business.
• Experience in submission process management.
• Understanding of basic underwriting data analysis.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Knowledge of company appetites and delegated underwriting authorities.
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven experience in the insurance industry.
• Ability to build successful relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong customer focus and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite and Google Workspace.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and initiative.
• Strong collaboration and team-working skills.
• Self-driven with a sense of responsibility.
• Attention to quality and self-discipline.

Nice to have:

• Prior startup experience.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economy, Finance, Business Affairs, or a related field.

• Provide superior support to underwriting and operations teams.
• Manage submission process including completeness reviews and account setup facilitation.
• Execute submission triage activities, reviewing information against underwriting appetites and guidelines.
• Obtain required information from brokers and maintain organized documentation.
• Balance multiple tasks and projects to meet key priorities and deadlines.
• Assist underwriting staff with eligibility determination and prioritization of opportunities.
