Senior Java Core Automation Framework Developer

We are partnering with a pioneering industry leader in the gaming and systems sector. The Customer designs and delivers premium game content, award-winning systems, and sleek hardware cabinets. Their platform ecosystem spans mobile, web, microservices, and API-driven applications requiring continuous automation and scalable testing infrastructure.

• Solid expertise in Java, including modern features (records, sealed types, pattern matching, virtual threads), targeting Java 25.
• Ability to design public APIs and plugin SPIs considering binary compatibility and deprecation practices.
• Solid understanding of multithreading, timeouts, cancellation, and interruption.
• Knowledge of Spring Boot, background job scheduling, retry, idempotency strategies, and safe resource pool allocation.
• Strong understanding of multi-module Gradle (version catalogs, BOMs, toolchains), internal artifact repository publishing, and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Proficiency in Git and Gitflow.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Nice to have:

• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, ELK stack, New Relic).
• Experience with device farms or device labs (HeadSpin, BrowserStack, Sauce Labs) handling session lifecycle, port forwarding, and unstable hardware.
• Experience in game development or mobile gaming, including reading C# and automating game UIs.
• Ability to design and execute automated tests for native mobile applications using tools like Appium, XCUITest, Espresso on iOS and Android platforms.

• Core Framework Architecture: Design, implement, and maintain the core test automation engine and public/plugin APIs in Java 25.
• Backend & Infrastructure Orchestration: Develop resilient Spring Boot microservices, job scheduling, and resource allocation pools.
• Build & CI/CD Tooling: Configure and maintain multi-module Gradle builds, internal artifact publishing, and automated deployment pipelines.
• Cross-Team Enablement: Provide stable, well-designed APIs and extension points for AI Agent Developers and Automation QA Engineers.
