Senior IT Analyst (Software Lifecycle) - IT Contracting

Our client is a European bank operating in the Financial Services sector within IT Development.

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an IT Analyst, IT Asset Manager, Software Asset Manager, or similar role.
• Practical knowledge of Software Asset Lifecycle Management and Software Lifecycle Management processes.
• Experience analyzing risks from using obsolete or unsupported software.
• Good understanding of IT architecture, software development processes, and governance.
• Analytical thinking and ability to formulate recommendations for business and technical stakeholders.
• Experience with FlexeraOne, FlexNet Manager Suite, or similar SAM/ITAM tools.
• Knowledge of Power BI and MS Excel for reporting and data analysis.
• Very good command of English enabling smooth business and technical communication.

Nice to have:

• Experience in banking or financial sector.
• Knowledge of Flexera Data Platform and FlexeraOne ITAM and ITV modules.
• Experience preparing materials for audits and regulatory controls.
• Knowledge in Technology Risk, IT Compliance, or IT Governance.
• Experience working in large, multinational organizations.
• Knowledge in Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and relationships between hardware and software.

• Manage and develop the Software Lifecycle Management area in a banking environment.
• Analyze software lifecycle and identify components at risk of losing vendor support.
• Support application owners and business areas in assessing the impact of obsolete software on IT environment.
• Recommend actions to minimize risks related to unsupported software.
• Monitor quality and completeness of software lifecycle and IT asset data.
• Prepare reports, analyses, and dashboards supporting Software Lifecycle management.
• Participate in internal and external audits related to software lifecycle management.
• Collaborate with architecture, governance, security teams, and application owners on technology compliance.
