Remote Delivery Engineering, IP NSP – Working Student

Nokia is a global leader in connectivity for the AI era, with expertise across fixed, mobile and transport networks, powered by Nokia Bell Labs. The Remote Delivery Engineering team is part of the Customer Delivery Engineering organization, responsible for delivering design, integration, migration, and acceptance services consistently and cost-effectively across Europe. The role involves working within the Regional Delivery Engineering team, focusing on NSP installations, upgrades, platform design, IP network design, integration, transformation, validation, and testing of IP-based solutions.

• Active student status for at least one year.
• Good English language skills, both spoken and written.
• Knowledge of network management system administration technologies such as RHEL and VMWare ESXI.
• Understanding of IP networking principles.
• Team player with good communication skills and eagerness to learn.

Nice to have:

• Student status in telecommunications, physics, electrical engineering, or related fields.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Proven experience in designing, implementing, and operating IP networks.
• Experience working with Nokia network equipment.
• Basic knowledge of Python and automation frameworks such as RobotFramework and Selenium.

• Support the RDE IP engineering team in preparing NSP methods of procedures, acceptance test documentation, designs, and design data preparation using AI and automation tools.
• Assist in developing and maintaining technical documentation such as High-Level Design (HLD), Low-Level Design (LLD), Method Of Procedures (MoP), and Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP) for NSP IP network deployments and transformation projects.
• Support validation and verification activities using STA and other AI-enabled engineering tools.
• Assist in customer NSP installation, upgrade, and commissioning activities including software loading and health analysis.
• Support NSP integration activities including network element onboarding, configuration verification, testing support, and integration procedure execution.
• Participate in dry-run activities involving NSP environment preparation, procedure execution, and documentation.
• Collect, organize, and maintain project-related technical data, reports, and engineering documentation.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and project teams to gain practical experience in IP networking technologies and NSP solutions.
