Business Continuity & Crisis Management Specialist

• 3–5 years of professional experience in Business Continuity, Crisis Management, Operational Resilience, or related disciplines
• At least 1–2 years of experience in testing, exercising, or technical recovery planning
• Proven hands-on experience designing and executing testing exercises, including desktop exercises
• Professional experience in the financial services industry, such as banking or insurance
• Good understanding of how large financial organizations operate and manage technology and operational dependencies
• Strong knowledge of BCCM (Business Continuity and Crisis Management) frameworks, methodologies, and best practices
• Excellent workshop facilitation and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to engage senior leadership, manage differing perspectives, and drive productive discussions
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities while maintaining focus on exercise objectives and outcomes
• Strong coordination and documentation skills

• Design and plan desktop testing exercises aligned with CCS objectives and banking regulatory expectations
• Develop realistic, MVB-grounded scenarios to evaluate manual recovery procedures and interdependencies
• Facilitate and host exercise workshops with key stakeholders
• Validate crisis and recovery plans and identify operational gaps
• Manage exercise logistics including participant engagement, session timing, documentation, and team coordination
• Provide real-time facilitation during desktop exercising sessions
• Develop reusable exercise materials, participant guides, and facilitator notes
• Track and manage action items from testing exercises
• Coordinate follow-up activities and provide updates to senior leadership and programme governance
• Document exercise outcomes including findings, observations, gaps, and recommendations
• Identify opportunities to strengthen CCS recovery capabilities
• Collaborate with Business Continuity and Crisis Management teams to align recovery and crisis response plans
• Work from a Nordea location in Poland minimum 3 days per week if required
