Staff Product Manager

At Samsung Food (Whisk), we pioneer everyday care and health by connecting food, health, and home across the Samsung ecosystem using AI, nutrition, behavior change, and digital health. The Samsung Food app has been recognized by Google Play and Apple App Store and integrates with Samsung Health and SmartThings. The remote-first team has over 100 people in more than 30 countries and is part of Samsung Electronics.

• Experience taking a product from an undefined state to launch, accountable for outcomes and able to demonstrate produced artifacts.- Skilled in product craft: writing, sketching, prototyping definitions rather than starting from fixed briefs.- Ability to identify experience failures before data and articulate principles explaining those failures.- Capability to create coherent product experiences integrating features, models, and constraints.- Perspective on AI product failures as contextual rather than solely model problems.- Judgement in removing functioning but underperforming features.- Proficient in producing effective written specifications and decision documents that communicate across organizations.- Ability to start work early, identify risks at partial completion, and adjust as needed.- Skill in anticipating cross-organizational needs in diverse locations and work environments.- Experience designing ambitiously within constraints such as platforms, regulations, and partners.- Familiarity with multiple methods of discovery, delivery, evaluation, and decision-making and selecting appropriate approaches per context.

• Own the coaching experience, ensuring the behaviour model and decision logic appropriately guide coaching moments and silence.- Produce clear, actionable definitions for multiple organizations across time zones to build upon without direct supervision.- Manage interfaces across organizational boundaries, including contracts and schemas.- Own the evidence demonstrating coaching quality including accuracy, helpfulness, personalization, and supportiveness.- Decide release scope including acceptable limits on initial errors.
